Wax Melt FAQ
Q: What kind of wax do you use?
A: Effective September 2017 -- our wax is now a custom blend of 100% paraffin waxes. We formulated it to be firm, but easily sliceable.
Q: Do I need to cure your wax?
A: No, you do not. It is ready to melt when you receive it, but you are certainly welcome to cure if you wish. I'm not the boss of you ;)
Q: What kind of warmer works best with your new wax?
A: I tested our new formula in a Glade 13-watt, Glade 20-Watt, and a 24-watt warmer (all hotplate styles). I personally didn't find the 13-watt to be strong enough for many scents. The 20-watt performed well with the majority of scents -- this wattage gave a nice throw and allowed the scent to linger longer. The 24-watt gave a banging throw on most scents, but the scent didn't last as long (tip if using this wattage: turn off the melter once it has melted and permeated the air -- turn on again later and repeat the process until the scent is gone). I did not test in any bulb warmers. I encourage you to try different warmer styles and wattages to find what works best for you and your home.

Upon first melting Bohemian Beach, which I received as a sample with my last order (thank you, TDC!), I was certain it was too powdery for my taste. I love nag champa and patchouli, but I wasn’t sure I loved this. I waited, though, and I melted it again a week later, and now I ADORE it! Now, I’m able to detect the very, very subtle orange in the orange patchouli, and what was formerly too powdery for me had settled into something a bit more pulled-together and grounded. Given how much I love this now, I’m a bit surprised that it almost reminds of Clinique’s Aromatics Elixir, a fragrance I’ve not smelled since I was a kid working at a fragrance counter twenty years ago, and a fragrance I detested at the time. Maybe mine is an inaccurate memory of the AE scent, or perhaps the passage of time has allowed me to recall and appreciate its powdery, patchouli-ness in a way my kid-self didn’t. In any case, AE is what came to mind as I entered the room where Bohemian Beach had been melting for a couple of hours. My next thought was, “Wow, that’s really lovely, and I’m definitely going to include this in an upcoming order.” It is, and I am!

BEE MINE! Omg it’s sooo sooo good! It’s such a beautiful complex smell, as is flowers in the attic. Theyre fresh and flowery scents but not overly perfumeyyy. Flowers in the attict is tart and sweet. Two of my favorite blends so far:)

I can't say enough about tendigit. I want to order everything they carry. My home always smells so wonderful. Everyone that come over committees how great it smells in my home. The owner is a wonderful person. She is the kind of that cares about her customers and you want to do business with her. I have tried many different wax melt companies and tendigit is the best. Their products are outstanding. They are the best.

I just received my first-ever wax order, and with it, I received a couple of Valentino-scented runts. This is a wonderful scent with a nice throw and good longevity. The scent from just one runt in a 20w Glade warmer filled my large living room + kitchen space, and the scent lingered in that space for a couple hours after I turned off the warmer and move it to a different part of the house. I wasn't sure how I felt about the scent upon smelling it cold, but once it melted, I was certain I'd order it as a CYO scent with my next order, provided it was no longer available as a blend (it's made up of Blue Sugar, Vanilla Sandalwood, and Lavender Driftwood). It's somewhat masculine and very slightly herbal-y. It smells expensive, and at the same time - and I'm showing my age here - it reminds me a of a Baby Angel Cake Blow Kiss doll I had as a child (that's a scent I've always remembered fondly but hadn't come across again until now). I'm particular about scents in my living space and on my person, as some elicit headaches, but this one is a keeper. In fact, if my whole life smelled like this Valentino blend, I wouldn't mind.
